Barcelona Airport

Barcelona airport is a large regional airport with three terminals (A, B and C). These are connected by travelator and you should have no trouble getting to any of them.

Getting there by public transport

RENFE trains run every 20 minutes from the airport. Normally runs to Playa de Catalunya at the end of Las Ramblas via Barcelona Sants Station. This service is currently being disrupted by engineering works however, and you will need to change to suburban line 2 to complete your journey into the centre. This train forms part of Barcelona's integrated transport system with the metro and buses, and the airport is in Zone 1. As at May 2006 the fare to the centre is 2.40 euros. Ten trip and day tickets are available. EMT Barcelona run the A1 Airport shuttle bus every 10 minutes or so from Plaza de Catalunya in the city centre to the airport. As at May 2006, this service runs from around 6:00am to midnight and takes around 30 minutes. The fare is 3.75 euros one way.
